Race Optics is proud to offer the new Evolution High Definition camera system. Our new RO-1000 digital video recorder uses cutting edge technology to deliver high quality 1280x720 video. With multiple resolution options available, users can select the video quality required for video playback or DVD production. The DVR features an adjustable microphone setting to achieve high quality audio. One of its biggest features is solid state recording; this means that vibration and shock will not cause skipping or scratches in the video. Video and audio are recorded to a removable SD memory card that can simply connect to your computer for playback or create a DVD.
The system includes a Sony Super HAD CCD 550line waterproof camera. The power of a CCD image chip makes colors crisp and true. With its AUTO shutter ability it can handle light providing a true picture quality. Also having low LUX ratings allow them to be used in low light conditions, such as night filming. The 550line camera has a black and white feature built in for night filming when insufficient light is present. With a built in 90 degree field of view lens wide enough to capture everything, but not distort the picture. Another standard feature on the camera is a military grade waterproof locking connector with a heavy duty strain relief to hold up to rough environments and shrink mulitple connections down to one simple plug.
Many camera systems on the market required multiple batteries to operate, but with the Evolution’s all in one power solution the included rechargeable battery powers your entire system for approximately 170mins. The system also includes a spare battery for those longer recording times.
The included LANC controller gives you the ability to operate the system remotely with the flip of a switch. With its power and record indicator lights you can have the assurance to know that the system is on and recording. No more pulling out the recorder to turn the system On or Off, you can do it remotely. There is also a optional 2-way wireless LANC controller for those that need to operate the system from a distance. The wireless controller works up to 500ft, even works through glass and walls.
