Description
The blue EVO HD camera system is very similar to the red EVO HD system but features a built-in 7ft cable and battery saver screen function. Record clean and crisp 1080p high definition video. The included 4GB SD memory card captures over an hour of 1080p HD video and audio. The system records the video and audio into a simple video format for playback. The system also comes with 720p and 480i resolution recording capability. After filming your race simply remove the memory card from the system and plug it in your computer for playback or DVD production.
The camera head features a 5 mega pixel HD image sensor housed in a waterproof aluminum casing keeping it safe from the elements. The camera utilizes a 150 degree field of view at 1080p and 480i and 170 degree field of view at 720p allowing a clean wide angle but not distorting the picture.
The recorder body is made of a tough ABS plastic making it strong, but lightweight and water/dust resistant. The large rubber buttons on the recorder make it easy to operate even while wearing gloves. The system’s built-in 2” LCD screen allows camera angle setup and real time playback. The back of the recorder features a standard ¼-20” threaded hole for easy mounting. The rugged design of the EVO HD will hold up in the most extreme conditions and applications. The system includes 2 rechargeable batteries each providing 2.5 hours of operating time. The system also features a battery saver function, that turns the LCD screen off after set time to save battery power. Also included with the system is the car power adaptor for continuous power ability.
The recorders built-in microphone with wind noise control allows it to record high quality audio in almost any environment. Want to record audio from a radio or intercom? No problem, simply connect your radio or intercom into the recorder’s external audio port with the included audio adaptor.
The system includes a assortment of mounting solutions. The universal base and ring mount can be secured to any surface using the included zip ties, Velcro, or adhesive foam pad. The bottom base mount features a ¼-20” threaded hole making it compatible with the suction cup, roll cage, and RAM mounts. The system also includes a handle bar mount, which can easily be secured to bicycles, ATV’s, and dirt bikes.
