Introducing the New Quad Pro 3 camera system, which we have redesigned to be smaller and work in more applications, fits in cars, motorcycles, or even in a backpack. The Quad Pro accepts 1 to 4 cameras and can record in multiple screen modes such as quad, picture in picture, single camera, and double Picture in Picture. Quickly move the picture in picture window into any position on screen. Each camera view can be labeled with personal text for example “Drivers Side or Passenger Side.”
The quad pro features an audio/in port which the included microphone connects to overlay audio seamlessly for video playback. The system also includes a audio adaptor cable for custom intercom or microphone connections. The base system comes complete with 2 camera out the box ready to film. Can be used as an educational tool for car racing instructors.
System includes the RO-1000HD digital video recorder which uses cutting edge technology to deliver high quality 1280x720 video. One of its biggest features is its solid state recording; this means that vibration and shock will not cause skipping or scratches in the video. Video and audio are recorded to a removable SD memory card that simply connects to your computer for playback or create a DVD.
How it works: One to four cameras are connected to the Quad Pro processor unit. The processor takes the video signals and combines them into one video signal. This signal is then sent out the video out port. The video out port is connected to the DVR which then records the video to memory card. Please note that if you record in quad screen, then you will playback the video in quad screen. If you record in picture in picture, then you will only be able to play it back in picture in picture mode. The Quad Pro 3 system does not record each camera individually.
